After Care Instructions:

How long to leave paste -

When Paste is on Skin - Leave paste on for at least 4hrs. The longer you leave the paste on the skin the darker the stain will become. Paste will naturally flake off as it dries.

To prevent paste from flaking off - 

Tape the artwork with Surgical PAPER tape (best for sensitive skin).

Or

Use NEWSKIN aresol spray. Do this with caution as it can run the paste if the bottle is held too close to the skin's surface.

You can ask to have either one of these done during personal appointments. At most parties & events, the customer prefers to show off the artwork rather than cover it with tape.

Staining process - The stain will take up to 72 hours to produce the final results. Your initial stain will be from a bright pumpkin orange to a raspberry red. After 72hrs you have reached your "peak" stain.

Extending the life of the Henna artwork-

Avoid water as much as possible. Especially during the first 24 hrs.

Before bathing or swimming, apply Cocoa butter, Olive oil, Burt's Bee's or your favorite non-alcohol based moisturizer to the design area.

AVOID EXFOLIANTS, HAND SANITIZERS and CHLORINE. These will strip your henna quickly.
